    P:Y:G „blueht“ heißt das neue, zweite Album (erschienen auf Freifeld Tonträger) des in Wien ansässigen Improvisations-Trios. Beim New Adits Festival in Klagenfurt aufgenommen, stäubt, keimt, sprießt und welkt die Band auf dem Tonträger zwischen neuer Musik, Jazz-core und Noise. Den Instrumenten werden ihre herkömmlichen Funktionen durch gegenseitige Imitation entzogen, und spröde, Staccato-durchsetzte Soundfetzen, polyrhythmische Strukturen, brachial ausreißende Lärm-Wände und Drones werden so auf eine wundersam, skurrile Art alle Teil einer P:Y:G-typischen, schnelllebigen Klangkulisse.


    "blueht" is the name of the second album (released on Freifeld Tontraeger) from the Viennese Improv-Trio P:Y:G. It was recorded live at the New Adits Festival in Klagenfurt,Austria. The track titles are derived from the German words for the development of a flower (staeubt, keimt, sprieszt and welkt) and the music sits somewhere between Contemporary Music, ‘Jazz-core’ and Noise. The normal rolls of each instrument are expanded through the players imitating each other. Rough staccato, sound-shred, polyrhythmic structures and violent noise-blasts are all part of the P:Y:G-soundworld.
